Five years had passed after Rufina's death and Kevin's disappearance from her life. Ries, determined to find Kevin and the truth, trained to become a squire of the church. Kevin left Ries behind without telling her the truth of what had happened that day. She woke up to the cleaning and repairs of the house as well as the news of her sister, Rufina, was dead.
One day, the house was attacked by Jaegers and Ries was held hostage after being knocked unconscious. Because of Rufina's persistent action in reaching out to Kevin, he decided to live together with them.īoth Rufina and Kevin decided to become knights of the Septian Church, leaving Ries as the last one at the orphanage of the trio. The two of them first met with Kevin on a street corner. In S.1198, Ries lost her older sister Rufina Argent when a jaeger corps attacked the Aster House orphanage ran by the Septian Church in Arteria that both sisters helped out in. She also has an obsessive interest in food, being capable of devouring large quantities without gaining much weight and identifying food sources as a priority when in a new area. She has a knack for observing a person's true personality in an instant and calls them out should they attempt to state otherwise in a generally harsh manner. Ries is calm and does things in her own way. She has a blue blade, and it is capable of splitting into several segments connected by a sword, allowing it to be swing around like a whip. Ries uses a Templar sword in battle, one of the traditional weapons of the Gralsritter. Ries is most often seen in the traditional sister's outfit of the Septian Church, a black habit, with no variations unlike other members of the Gralsritter. She wears her hair tied up, and for the majority of her appearances, it is hidden beneath her habit's headpiece. Ries is a young woman with long red hair and turquoise eyes.
